Two Weeks of WIW

I decided to start taking outfit photos on a regular basis again to get a better idea of what I'm wearing and how proportions are working on me. It's been a minute since I last posted WIWs, but I love following all your style journies on YLF! I hope I'm showing a bit of evolution in my style as well. Since I last shared WIWs, I've focused on steamlining the colors in my wardrobe, buying fewer but higher quality pieces, and identifying a few outfit formulas that work for me. All thanks to YLF

Wow, I'm not sure where to begin? I love your style and that you use color in a nice way. Your glasses frames are terrific and I like the way you switch them depending on your outfit. It's hard for me to pick a favorite look. I think I'm going to tell you which looks I like best and why. I like look 1 because the top looks phenomenal on you, the shoes and necklace pair well with it, and I like the contrast betweeen the navy and the white. I love the pink jacket with the blackout in outfit 3. I like the skirt in outfit 4 paired with the jacket. Is that the same skirt as in outfit 7? I think I like the higher contrast blouse with the skirt. I like the print of outfit 5's top, but I wish the hemline looked different somehow. It may just be the angle of the shot, but I prefer you in a straight not wavy looking hem (if that makes sense?). Love outfit 6, 8, 10, 11 and 12 (I like the abstract mod polka dots and how the necklace repeats the theme). You really have excellent taste.

Your necklace collection is wonderful. So are your shoes. You have it together here.

Very nice. My favorite is 1 (coveting top, plus a personal love for navy and white together), followed by 4 & 6. Skirts look very nice on you, and I like your necklaces and shoes too.

All lovely! My favorite is 1; the color and shape of that top is fantastic on you, and contrasts beautifully with the white pants (and the shoes are just fun).

Wow indeed! Everything looks great and well put together. effortless and stylish. I especially like no. 2, 3 and 10. but that may well be because I tend to wear lots of black with white recently. And then all these pops of red in different places - it really brings out the contrast in the outfits imho.

I love your style! I think that you have a real eye for proportion and layering. My favorite looks are # 1, 3, 6, 7 (my very favorite!). Just for fun, I think it would be really great to see #6 with a totally neutral/nude shoe (but of course that could be just because that is my personal taste). Thank you for sharing! I really enjoy seeing what you do, and getting ideas from you.

1 and 12 are my favorites. I like asymmetrical hems across the front. With a top like the one in 2, you can accomplish the look with a small side tuck on one side, letting the top hang loose on the opposite side.

Great outfits! #1 is fantastic. My other other favorites are 6,7,8 and 10 and I could list more. I am curious to know which you felt best in.

sarahthewhite, I love your style and appreciate your feedback! I have been looking for a pair of nude flats similar to the ones you've been wearing. I think you're right, it would be a sharp change to the outfit!

staysfit, I've been wondering about that wavy hem myself. I like the shirttail hems (#12 is actually one, but it's half tucked) and think they look pretty good. The shirt in #5 has an odd right angle hem. I tend to agree with you that it's not the best look. I'll keep trying!

Thanks, shevia! #1,6,7 feel the most "me" if that makes sense. #8 was worn to a formal work event, and while I don't love wearing jackets, the lace felt amazing because it was so breathable. So it was definitely a win for practicality!

I so enjoy seeing a bunch of outfits all at once to get a sense of someone's style. Thanks for such a comprehensive post.

You wear skirts and dresses really well. I really like outfits 1, 6, and 7. In #1, those orchid shoes are just really unexpected and fun. I love your shoes in #7 too. #6 has lovely proportions, and the red tassel necklace feels like a personal touch to a basic formula.

Great job taking daily WIWs. I try to do this but it doesn't always happen. And it sounds like you have a good plan in place too. The outfits here, I notice you have an eye for fun prints and colors. Especially those pink shoes in #1 and the printed skirt in #11. Just lovely!

I love all these outfits! There's also a good variety here, but they all feel like they're consistently you.

I love the necklace in #6!

I agree with Angie. You look so stylish on each day. Every day you add something a little special, like the lilac shoes in 1 and the drapey scarf in 10 and the pretty red print in the skirt in 11.

I'm happy that the orchid shoes are getting the love...I scooped them up along with a few other orchid colored items when it was trending last year because I adore the color! I have my eye on an orchid colored dress from the same season listed on ebay. It's just such a cheery color!

Hi Coffee Girl! I've been a bit less active on the forum recently, and I'm trying to catch up with all the newer folks --- so much easier to do with lots of pics and outfits to see all at once!

You have a fabulous sense of fit and proportion. I love the asymmetrical hemline in #1, the pop of coral in #3, and your fab use of a denim jacket.

I'm looking for great orchid pieces also (love the shoes). I'd love to see what you find!

Lovely! You've a great eye for color and I am particularly enjoying all the pattern you've got in your outfits -- #8, #10 and #11 really jump out at me but you look equally wonderful streamlined a la #3. You've also got fab shoe collection ^^

I like your style very much. It is so interesting, silhouette-wise and color-wise. My favorite outfit is nr. 1: I always adore a dark top+white bottom combination! The fit of that dark tee is perfect on you and the orchid shoes are so unexpected and fresh. Then I also like nr. 2, 4, 5, 10 and 12.

Wow, I love your style! It's hard to get the WIW's, I really need to start doing that again, it is so eye-opening isnt' it? I love 1,5,6,10 and 12 and I think 5 is my favorite. I actually really like the wavy hem and it's great with the jeans and gladiators. Love your shoes and necklaces.
