As some of you may remember, my family has been in New York and Florida for the last three weeks visiting family. As a very special birthday present, my husband gave me a mini-trip to Seattle to see my oldest friend and her family. And, of course, I wasn't going to go to Seattle without seeing Angie!
Although I was on a very tight schedule (I was in town less than 3 days), Angie, Anna and Aida generously worked around my schedule and found time to meet me. If I tell you that all three are more fab than seems humanly possible I know you will believe me - especially those of you lucky enough to have met them yourselves.
Thursday night, a few hours after I got in, Anna came to my friend's bar to meet me. Anna is even more beautiful and more stylish in person. She is also sweet as can be and I had a wonderful time chatting with her. She was a terrific sport about meeting my friends too and a delight to hang out with. Although I was a frazzled mess having flown across the country and pretty much not sat still since, Anna looked utterly fabulous as you can see below.
The next morning I met Angie downtown. I was shaking all morning in anticipation but she put me at ease right away. She is every bit as warm, genuine, lovely, gracious, sensitive and intelligent in person as online. She is also absolutely stunning and grace personified. Fresh as a daisy even after an incredibly hectic week and staying up late to post NAS picks, I truly felt like I had been given a gift by my fairy godmother. And she agreed to take a selfie with me!
Finally, Aida was able to leave work early and come all the way downtown to meet me. Aida, who looks even younger and more gorgeous in person, was an absolute doll. We went to Pike's Place Market to look for snacks and then we shared some blueberries while looking out at the water. A sweet woman sitting near us agreed to take our picture so I have at least one actual outfit shot from the day. Note our matching shoes!
Anyway, I could go on and on gushing about my triple AAA fabbers but I had better stop now - I am writing from the plane back to NY and hope to finally get some sleep tonight because I have been on an almost 3 day high.
