Hi lovelies!
It is a misty Sunday morning and I am heading over to twinnies house for tea and a chat! Here is what I wore. This is my first time wearing the new skinnies with flats. I am also really digging wearing two patterns at once!. Opinions please Sorry for the blurry last pic.

levi demi-curve dark blue skinnies
LLBEAN black and white stripe boatneck
black and metal necklace
green jacket
gray and black zebra scarf
old black jessica simpson "levi" flats (need replacing with something a little jazzier?)
poppy red eddie bauer raincoat
white ceramic watch

You look wonderful! It's hard to believe you were a late adopter of the skinnies trend--they look like they were made for you! Love the navy with the brights--you look so springy and chic.

Oh Meredith. It just keeps getting better and better. I love the stripes with the bright jacket. You can definitely pull off the skinnies with flats.

Wow you certainly adapted quickly to this silhouette and you layer your colors beautifully. I agree some snazzier flats would be a great addition here. Maybe something colorblocked?
I love these: (the red version might be in my bag waiting for a price drop this week...)

The green jacket is perfect here! Flats with skinnies = can't miss. Those jeans look custom made for you.

One more new flat suggestion (no picture though) is a metallic flat. When Angie first introduced them a few years back, I thought she was over the edge. Now, I can't live without them. I have a matte silver in rotation currently. Colorblocked flats are my first love!

Great outfit! I like the yellow (at least on my monitor) blazer with the stripes.. The patterned scarf looks great too.

Thanks so much for liking the combo together! I was nervous about wearing the skinnies without boots because I thought it would make my thigh look large. I do like them with flats now that I see how it really looks! I am glad the scarf and sweater aren't to ALGO!

I was bit concerned about skinnies with flats, too, but a little scrunch at the bottom seems to visually balance things out. Looks great to me!

Yes a little scrunch at the bottom does help balance the skinnies with the flats. I'm going to try them with my Born shooties next! I have black ones and taupe ones!
