Oh thanks everyone. You are all so nice. Thankyou for making me feel glad I took the plunge. I just felt like, what the heck, I'm gonna do something really different, and I didn't get any opposition from those around me.
Like I said before it is just so much fun to mess the back of it all up with my hand. I think it will grow out nicely too because Teresa said she was cutting it to have alot stringies/choppies. I'm not sure of the correct word here. She said it would grow out in a feminine way. Can't beat that.

You are so lucky San. You have the right coloring and features to take on any kind of cut and all sorts of colors. My jawline is too heavy for anything above the chin, and I really can't have any color in my hair other than what it is naturally, which is so limiting. But I have seen you go blonde and brown, with all kinds of styles and lengths. How very fab. It must be so much fun to be able to experiment and constantly refresh your look.
