Outifts from this week; includes my new boots with dress/skirt

I got to wear my new boots to work on Monday. I wore them with a dress and pullover sweater and belt. It was a really fun outfit and I was really happy with my boots. They are super comfortable. I love them so much..........gulp...I ordered another pair in black!

Please take a look and let me know your feedback. Also...my Thursday outfit didn't quite turn out as I had hoped. I woke up and it was soooo cold out. I had to throw something on over my shirt. What would have been some better options?

I love your glamorous, polished style and I like the denim jacket over the mustard sweater with the scarf, I think it is the combination of the indigo with the mustard which looks so rich!

What a nice and dressy week you've had! The boots are great! I love every single outfit, and I really like that you use so many different colors. I really like Thursday outfit, the jean jacket is very tailored yet it relaxes the rest of the outfit nicely. If you don't want to wear the jean jacket, next time you could wear black jacket for sure, or maybe even brown or burgundy (like your shoes). Something tells me you have quite a collection of scarves, don't you?

You look great in bright colors! Thursday is actually my favorite outfit. I think the denim adds an unexpected casual vibe to your otherwise very polished outfit. I like the proportions on the turquoise sweater and skirt outfit too--it makes you look super long and lean! Nice week!

No one mentioned anything...but do the skirt length vs. boot height look okay?

What about the style of skirt - i wasn't sure about the "tulip" style skirt, but took a chance...but that day at work, not many people said anything about my outfit, which could have meant it was a "don't"...what do you think? or maybe it was the blouse showing below my sweater?

any other hints or tips for me??

I really like the outfit with the dress and boots- I think that the length and combo is great! I love the sweater and belt over the dress and the addition of the belt. My only suggestion would be to change the necklace or not wear one. Somehow the bright white of the pearls seems off with the other autumn colors. I am one who loves flow so I may be the only one who feels this way.
The necklace works so well with the fushia!

Thanks Greenglove...I agree...after looking at the photo, the necklace does seem a bit "off." I think I should find a suitable scarf to go with this outfit. I know from photography classes and things i have learned regarding photograhy and art, that your eye automatically goes to the brights spot in a photo, or in this case an outfit, and I think the pearls were distracting. Thanks for pointing that out : )

It is funny though that the outfit I liked the least, (denim jacket, gray pants) seems to be the one everyone else liked the most! I think that happened last week too!

I like the boots and skirt length on Monday. I agree with Jean that the necklace seems a bit out of place. I think it's the length. Have you tried wearing a longer necklace with the outfit?
