Hi all,

I know it might be too early to start planning, but I would love to see if there is any interest in having a NYC meetup weekend, in February 2013.

Ideally, I would love to see if we can set it up around NYC's Fall 2013 fashion week, i.e. February 7 - February 14, 2013, but this is just a suggestion.

The weekend I was looking at is February 8 - 10, 2013.

I asked Angie if she would be attending, but that is uncertain at this point. ( I'm sending tons of smooches and virtual treats to our fave lady in pink, Miss Rosie).

I know that last time we met, there were some of you that made a weekend out of it . I would love to expand upon the traditional one day meetup and perhaps steal a page from our SoCal sisters, to make a 2-3 day experience out of it. I'd love to hear your thoughts. This is just a suggestion on my part.

I volunteer to help with coordination and in selecting shopping areas etc. I know Mochi and many others would love to help out too. I can also help with hotel arrangements, if needed.

As far as activities, I think that the best source of inspiration and fashion advice is the streets of NYC themselves, so we can do some people watching, weather permitting. We can perhaps include a photography workshop ( Jeje... I'm totally stealing from the SoCal and Seattle sisters. What about Times Square as a backdrop, too cliche?) and a trip to the Westchester premium outlets (The one with the Prada and Channel outlet stores). We can also do the "MaryK in NYC Consignment Store" tour. Of course, these are just my suggestions.

I'd love to receive feedback on:

1- Would you be interested in attending?
2- Would you be interested in a one day event or a weekend event? You can, of course, participate for as many days as you want.
3- Is Feb 8 -10 doable?

Thank you!

ETA: I'm getting excited with just seeing the responses. I just came up with a few other ideas for activities :

We can do a " The Best (GAP, BR, Loft, Macy's, H&M) Tour". That is just a little tour of the Flagship stores in NYC. They are really centrally located and within either walking distance or a short subway ride, of one another. There is a Saks Fifth Ave and Bloomingdales in close proximity, for some high end shopping (or oogling).

We can also do a "Century 21 exploration tour". I finally figured that crazy store out and I'm proud The shoe & handbag departments are guaranteed to blow your socks off.

We should also include the Rack @ Union Square as a must go destination.

We can also do a "Petite Segment" for our lovely petites, whom I think got neglected at our last meetup.

We don't have to go as a pack to all of the activities, we can split in smaller groups based on interest too!
