New gray boots - ETA pic of true color

I ordered the gray color. I've never tried Marc Fisher boots, but these look so nice. The only place I could find the wide width I need was at QVC. Also, I need a 15" calf circumference to go over my jeans, so that narrows my choices down a bit. I went a half size up on these because of the almond-shaped toe, but I think that they will look classic and hopefully stand the test of time. I'm excited to find gray boots.

Oh, they look very elegant, BC. Hope they'll fit. Grey boots can be so beautiful and versatile. I had a pair some years ago and still miss them.

Thanks. I have dark brown, navy and black tall boots. Gray boots are the next addition. After that, maybe burgundy. My feet are always cold, so boots are what I wear all Fall and Winter long.

They look like winners. I think the grey was a good choice. It looks very dark on my screen, almost black, but without the high shine that the Black has. I like that. But do boots really keep your feet warm? Only insulated boots keep my feet warm...

I live in the South, so regular tall boots are okay. I sit by a space heater at my office.

The boots do look dark in the pucture, They’re lighter in the video and are described as lighter in the customer reviews.

The boots got here. They’re a charcoal gray - dark but lighter than black. They go well with all the grays in my closet, so I’m happy. I ordered a half size up, which I think was a good decision. I tried them on, and they barely zip around my calves, but there is a gap, so I think they’ll be fine. The wide calf size would give the dreaded flower pot effect. The shaft is tall in the front, but I think the boots will be fine with skinny jeans or dresses. I love the finer leather and sleaker style that makes them dressier.

UPDATE: I'm wearing them today, and they fit perfectly with thicker socks. They also zipped up just fine over my skinny jeans. I will need to get some insoles with arch support, though. This purchase worked out fine, thank goodness.
