Amen Antje and beautiful top Ana!

That is indeed an adorable top Ana. I love lantern sleeves, and red is my favorite color.

I tend to agree with the comments that M is the shape of people Myshape doesn’t know how to classify. Myshape sounded great in theory, but I can't afford 90% of the stuff on there even with free shipping both ways. And a lot of it looks frumpy, which is exactly what I'm trying to avoid. If I'm going to spend that much I'd much rather go to BR or someplace like that I try on the clothes in person first.

As to my own figure, I'm pretty unclassifiable. I have the broad, square shoulders of an inverted triangle. They are 38" and boney. They would be bigger if I put on a little weight up there. My boobs are actually pretty average in size, but I found out that I have a sunken or concave sternum that makes them look smaller, so I always thought I was small-chested. I measure in at 32" and just discovered I'm a 30C not a 32B. My waist is sort of small at 26" and it's defined. I think my hips are small at 33". In conclusion, I need to follow different rules for various body types for all the different parts of my body. Mainly soften my shoulders (inverted triangle) and give myself more curves (rectangle). I don't think any website is going to take all of that into account, so I have to do it myself.

You're right about the clothes being frumpy Sarah. I only like clothes by brands I already know like Michael Kors and Sweet Pea, but gosh, look at this: http://www.symplithebest.com/spring/springpage.htm

OK, the black dress on the first page is cute enough, but the rest is awful. That's one of the brands they sell.

Angie recommended square neck tops in another thread for women with broad shoulders. Maybe try those.

I have been experimenting with Myshape by putting in different measurements, and it seems even if my shoulders and hips were 32" (which is unbelievably small), and my chest was a 32AA, but the rest remained the same, I would STILL be an M. Uh, no.

Some of those outfits are hideous.

Yikes! Those are quite the outfits. I'm on the lookout for square necks after reading that thread, Maya. I found a cute square neck at Macy's the other day and just might go back and buy it.
