Happy birthday, Lisa. What a great year in review post.

Glad you found YLF and am grateful for your participation.

Happy Birthday, Lisa! I can't believe you were floundering a year ago, you seem to me so absolutely in the know. I love your tart, sassy, cut-to-the-chase comments, your unsentimental modernity, and your honest self-appraisal. I should have known you were a Gemini!

Happy Birthday from one straight shooter to another. Have a wonderful day and remember to always stay true to who you are.
Loved your post. Someone above mentioned looking for Lisa's comments to see what she says.....I do the same.

Happy birthday lisap! I think you're wonderful just the way you are and always look forward to your posts, WIWs and reading your comments. It seems to me that you really know what you like, know how to apply for your bodytype and coloring and how to translate it into your lifestyle. Here's to another awesome YLF year!

Happy Birthday Lisa! What a great post, very thoughtful and honest which is you to a tee!

I love your style, modern and fun, and you have such a way with accessories. I hope you have found your groove again after one of those readjustment patches that we all face. From where I am you totally have.

Happy Birthday Lisa! I don't remember any of those things you refer to! I missed them or dismissed them, usually the wisest course anyway! I love your posts and your style and your opinions and never thought anything you said was less than kind. I'm glad you are still around!

Happy Birthday Lisa!

Loved reading your post.

My DH says I am the least sensitive person he knows. Unfortunately, that means I am frequently puzzled when someone gets his/her feelings hurt by a comment I have made. I mean.... I often say What Did I Say??

And I get "the look" LOL .. anyway, I love your style, and your posts and photos!

I always enjoy your humor and wisdom and have never been offended on my own behalf or on anyone else's... it's because it's obvious you always come from a good place. Love having you here, you share a birthday with my younger brother and he is one of the most charismatic people I know.

You have awesome style and are a beautiful person on every level. Be happy and may this be the start of a fantastic year!!

Happy bday Lisap I like you just as you are.
We all have warts. Online and IRL. Like you What I've learned is that even after 50 style is gonna be a work in progress. Even if you have a background in retail or styling or whatever! It's a lifelong journey, I now understand that. You aren't "forged" by a certain age, thank God! Keep experimenting and inspiring us with your expressions of your own fiery and fearless personality.

On your birthday, Lisa, you gave us the gift of an insightful, touching post that allows us to know even more of your terrific spirit....thank you and happy birthday!

I've always admired your style. You've got a great eye for accessories and a vibe I love. As another who had been seeking a style change when age 50 came along, I so enjoy your contributions here.

Aww, Lisa! You know I love that you are part of YLF. I well remember a bit of the bumpy time in the beginning, and I was worried you would leave, but I'm SO glad you stayed, and that you continue to contribute to this special place with your wonderful style, open heart, and straight forward nature. I hope that this is one of your best birthdays ever! I always love to see your outfits and aspire to look as stylish as you do. HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Wishing you many happy and fashionable tours around the sun!

What a terrific birthday post Lisa. You wear your heart on your sleeve, and only people with a good heart can truly do that. Happy birthday!

Happy Birthday, Lisa. You are a beautiful, intelligent, articulate and lovely addition to this site.

A June Gemini! Happy Birthday fellow Gem!

Do you like the way I skip straight to the deep parts? Important things first, hehe. But I wanted to say so true! to what you said, esp. about friends from all over.

Happy Birthday Lisa! And here's to many more years on YLF! Keep that fab style sparkling.

Happy Birthday, girlfriend! You've written a wonderful, reflective post. I always enjoy seeing your fabulous outfits. Here's to another stylish year!

Lisa thanks so much for what you have shared here. I think you are just lovely and I am thrilled you are my fab friend:). Wishing you a very happy birthday and another year full of all things wonderful. xxx

Happy birthday Lisa! I am a very faithful reader of the blog/forum but don't participate actively much at all. Thus it produces strange relationships when some of the active members here appear to be my 'sisters,' but they hardly know me.
We are pretty much the same age and my daughter just turned 18 (I also have a son). I just love your non-conformity, wit, intelligence, tell-me-straight-as-it-is ways. And your body issues - I can completely relate and love that you have been so incredibly honest about them. I exercise a lot and eat well (mostly), but with the increasing years it has become so hard to accept that some areas get flabby, no matter what I do. Clothes fit differently, the couple of pounds to lose just. won't. come. off anymore like they did in the past, without huge sacrifices which I have an increasingly hard time to make. So throw in the towel? Can't do that either. Acceptance is the key, but that is so hard as well. Struggles ensue, lots of ups and downs. A big thank you to you for your honesty!

Hello! I hope you had a great birthday. I posted a note to you on Kiwigal's thread, but I will just repeat it here: I appreciate your honesty and openness on the forum. You're a very genuine person! Thank you for being part of this community.

I hope you had a great Birthday, and that you are here for many years to come!
