What do you wear when you’re on the go all day from personal care appointments to casual outings to a more formal live performance? This is what I chose last weekend. Crummy pics as I didn’t manage to take any while out!
I had to run from a spa appointment to brewery-hopping for my husband’s birthday to a fun opera performance with Annagybe in the evening. No time to go home. No good place to change.
A couple things:
• This jumpsuit isn’t difficult to get on and off (amazingly) so having to de-robe for a morning appointment or drinking during the day doesn’t pose a concern.
• It was chilly but not to the point where I needed boots. I wore my green wool coat over this.
• I knew some of the places I’d visit would be very warm so wanted layers.
• I needed footwear that was comfortable for walking in a (safe) light industrial brewery district where streets and sidewalks aren’t always smooth, and lots of standing.
• I knew I’d be a bit overdressed for brewery hopping but not badly. I’d be comfortable. I wanted to feel like I was dressed up enough at the opera because batting for team dressy is fun.
I chose my black jumpsuit, green suede flats, rose gold pendant necklaces, long green pleather jacket, and rose gold purse.
What would you wear for that sort of scenario?
