last red cardi in town!

A while ago I tried on this cardi and rejected it, thinking I 'd rather get one which started buttons a bit lower. Then I couldn't find a single other red cardigan in my town. I went back to the original shop, lured by a cardholders sale and got the last pair in the shop. Now on sale and with a discount it was only $14!

The tomato red color is striking with the turquoise. I like it partially buttoned and agree that left open it looks boxy, at least in the photo. You will have fun with this.

Love it - great color on you and it buttons fine the way you show it. Left open I also like except I would pair with a top that hugs your curves more; then it won't seem so boxy (i.e. the turquoise top is boxy, not necessarily the cardi).

Have you tried belting it?

Thanks everyone - I am glad I got it. I am obviously too perfectionistic, as demonstrated by rejecting it the first time!

And wow - having Tanya think of copying something I did (Which truth be told was just because I was doing all my new clothes at once!)

Kari - the metallic sandals were cheapies from Spendless shoes, bought after a failed attempt to buy silver flats. I am not sure they'll last all that long but they are at least a neutralish colour, are tending towards a low vamp have a wedge which is good for stability and have a medium heel (they are about 2 inches high, which means for me that they still aren't all that comfortable)
