Some of you know that I'm looking for wedding wear, as well as more basic items for Spring/Summer. While on my hunt I found this sheath dress. While wedding appropriate, I think I'm still looking for something dressier for the one wedding, and more organic, flowing for the more casual wedding. Still, this graphic number was a better fit than most, and the length was doable (a rarity). I did have to size up -- which SLAYED me, but it's so delicious so slip into a dress that has plenty of ease (and I'll snip the tag out). The waist is a a tad short, but a belt handles that easily, the bust darts are perfect, the neckline is modest and there are POCKETS.

On the other hand......

It is bold, and there is a fine line between bold and, "oh my!" Also, a sheath that fits well is hard to debomshell on an hourglass. Let's face it. Oh, and I have a booty, too (but the dress doesn't do the dreaded "cup," because I sized up). Also, I'm sensitive about my arms and feeling large overall. I can't hide in this dress.
I need to know:
1. Does this dress communicate the energy/ease part of my rubric? Creative and fun, but not "loud?"
2. Can I wear it with a jacket to work?

P.S. My new photo location requires flash and a low, close angle. Every photo has a double chin. Keepin it real.
