Day 4 of the challenge. Today, I decided to wear my strange black pants. These pants have been in my wardrobe for about 6 years, but they have been neglected, forgotten and became wardrobe outcasts. They are seriously awkward and they do not want to play nicely with the rest of the wardrobe. Today, I give them one last chance to save themselves.
The challenge outfit I wore is shown in No 1. I am wearing the strange black pants, a cream silk top with a ruffle and grey suede boots. I add cream silk scarf, a soft purple knitted jacket with a grey and black pattern from Basler and a vintage 60ies cream handbag with a pair of purple leather gloves tucked into the pocket of the bag (No 3). In the pictures, the purple colour appears more blue. I considered option No 3 - a grey scarf and bag, but chose no 1. Today, I had a vacation, so this is my casual look (as you see, I am not that good at casual :-).
When the strange pants were out of the closet anyway, I tried a couple of options just for fun. These are not a part of the real challenge, but only for fun. No 4 - strange pants even stranger :-), a grey leather jacket from ZARA, large grey silk-blend scarf and a pair of vintage red velvet long gloves.
No 5 is inspired by Angie and all you YLF ladies! I use the same leather jacket, but add two different faux pearl necklaces and a pair of cream satin gloves with small glass beeds, found in a bridal shop. No 6 a detail of the necklases and No 7 the gloves. This I could wear to go out with friends.
I am grateful for any honest feedback, ideas or suggestions how to style the strange pants.
Please, help me decide the strange pants' faith. In or out?
