Happy Monday lovely ladies!
Twinnie gave me the sibling to my green jacket. I have been coveting this coral one for some time so we did some swapping!

I am combining stripes and florals today. I like the results but of course I value your opinions. Here goes
AT striped top long sleeve top
coral jean style jacket
african trading beads (real and courtesy of mom from one of her trips)
gray levi demi-curve id straighleg jeans
Born taupe shooties
floral multi color scarf
poppy red raincoat

I love the coral color and my feeling was that the pattern mixing worked fine but I am so glad you all approve. Hubs did his "You look colorful" today as I walked out of the house with the poppy red raincoat over the coral jacket! I flashed what I hope was a brilliant smile and sailed out the door.

Meredith, that coral plus red combo is FANTASTIC with your silver hair and grey base garments, and I'm amazed at your ability to find a scarf and necklace that *exactly* match tones and print scale!

This is an exemplum of a pattern-mixed and colour-blocked (in layers, no less!) outfit.

Thanks so much for noticing the necklace in the outfit. I am trying to sneak in a necklace into a lot of my outfits because if I have to remove the scarf, I want something nice to look at! I am so glad you like the colors and patternmixing with stripes and scarf!

Poppy is perfect with coral - very nice sis you have!

I like how you mixed the African beads in - the wood is very warm looking element. I totally understand the scarf mix over the necklace.

What a great way to carry your family with you today after you all had time together this weekend.

Thanks ChristieAnne! I think sis was nice too! Mom always brings back some pretty exotic and eclectic things as gifts. I have difficulty incorporating that type of item into my wardrobe but I thought the beads filled the neckline and sort of indirectly repeated some of the tones and colors of the jacket and shoes.

A winning look Meredith! That coral is perfect for Spring...hopefully, the temps are warming up where you are?! It'll be in the 70s here this week...I've had to start digging around in my still-boxed-up summer clothes.

Our weather is truly schizophrenic right now. Yesterday it actually tried to snow! Today is it sunny and in the 50s. In Boise we don't truly count snow out of the picture till after April. I am just taking advantage of the nice days in between. Plus I layer A LOT so that I can be prepared.
