Does this work: preppy and ‘tough’?

Felt pretty good in this.
Wondering if it looks ok, or a bit ‘kooky’ because of the combination of leather jacket and preppy underlayers. I put ‘tough’ in quotes because I’m not sure a leather jacket is tough, and I feel weird putting the word ‘tough’ in any of my WIW posts because that is not how I describe myself at all.

Oh: And I got some new sunnies! I love these! It’s hard for me to find ones that fit low enough on my face. My nose bridge is very wide, so most sunglasses—and pretty much ALL plastic ones—don’t fit on my face. These ones work well enough though.

Yup, works. Your distressed jeans add another layer of edge, so the leather jacket doesn’t just come out of nowhere.

I'm going to think about more ways to combine tough and preppy. Another tough thing I like are studs, but I've never bought anything like that before.

Firecracker - I have Miele down as my next vacuum. SO has one. We both love it. My current vacuum still has good suction though, so it's hard to give it up.

Brooklyn - Ah, I hadn't thought about the silver hardware as 'tough'.
