I have 5 hats in winter rotation, and actively (if slowly) am growing my collection. Berets (#1-3) are my favourite, with a wool fisherman’s cap (#4) a sentimental favourite and over 15 years old. A tuque (#5) is essential on cold days. I’m awaiting delivery of a Pom Pom (#6) and will affix it to the burgundy tuque once it arrives.

I’ve worn all my hats over the past month, and planning on adding another beanie or two to my collection. The red beret is a personal signature, and gets commented upon (positively) every time I wear it!

How many winter hats do you own? Do you have a favourite?

PS: for those who find hats itchy, I will vouch for the Parkhurst berets as being soft and not itchy, though 100% wool.
