30x30 Casual #4,5 (07/13,14) - YouLookFab Forum

My weekend... Saturday errands, and Sunday driving over an hour, watching DD curl in three games (they won B division!) then driving home. So comfy sitting clothes needed.

Saturday was an errand day, so not too worried about being seen (coat on most of the time) but I did want to get out of loungewear! I wore my olive Dre's, and a different black sweater. The temps were really mild, so I didn't want to wear my "deep winter" choice, which heavier and bulkier. This one is a keeper, but I'm not totally sure it belongs in my "deep winter" capsule.

Sunday I work some ponte jegging sort of things, and debuted an EF cashmere sweater I got on the sale rack at Nordstroms last April - when it was far to warm to wear. Been looking forward to this! The fabric is to die for. It's a bit of a wardrobe repeat of my Joie sweater, but I just couldn't resist the material, plus the necklines are different. At least that's my story.

Nice! I love black and olive together. I also really like the striped scarf in #2. It's a fun pop of lightness and pattern.

You look amazing. Sleek and amazing. My favorite is number 1 because I love the combination of black and olive. It looks so elegant to my eye. Fresh. Interesting.

Wow! I like and would wear these outfits. We may be "twins" if we both wear our Dre olive jeans with the EF black asymmetrical sweater. I agree that the fabric is irresistible.

Joy, do you have some EF cashmere as well? Isn't it amazing? This one is actually "midnight" and not black.

Elizabeth, after looking, I guess I don't have any EF cashmere. Just too pricey even on sale. If it does not pill, the price may be worth it. I have a blend with wool (probably merino). I cannot locate my EF black assemetrical hem sweater right now in my closet ( to dark and all the black is hung together) It might be as I also found it at the Rack last spring.

Both are lovely. I adore v-necks and asymmetry. I like the striped scarf, but I wonder if there's a bit of a scale issue? The scarf is almost too small. It is always hard to tell in 2D, though.

I love both of these - you look polished, long and lean, and the oxfords look great with both those outfits - I like the uninterrupted dark tonal line they create. When I wear straight legs they tend either look too short or to bunch at the shoe, so maybe the darker color is key. I have recently realized that cashmere is an essential for me. I can wear it 8-9 months a year and I love the feel.

Both outfits are great! I especially love Nr 2 - the asymmetrical sweater is fantastic and it suits you so well! The striped scarf is fun and it lightens up the outfit. Well done!

Toban, funny you should say that - I actually wore the scarf longer, with both "loops" at different lengths. So I guess I felt the same way!
