I wanted to wear this sweater with a scarf, but I have no scarves with this shade of green in them, so I thought I'd go for broke and pair the bright green sweater with a bright blue scarf. I hope I did OK! My happiness factor was quite high, but that could have been due to the fact that I managed to stay nice and warm in the sweater

To get as much natural light as I could to show the true colors, I took the photo by my very large picture window. Pic #2 is what's on the other side of that window - 17" of snow!

Jeans - Old Navy

Sopranomom, I didn't even think of that - inspiration really is all around us! If I ever get to Seattle again (I was there once when going on an Alaskan cruise, and I loved it), I will remember to wear those colors!

I must admit I did have my doubts about putting two brights together. Pre YLF I never would have done it. I always thought I had to match everything, like, green in the sweater so I must have a bit of the same shade of green in the scarf. I have learned so much from everyone here, thank you

They work great together! Especially since the blue looks to be in the same family as the jeans.

We've been hit with about 50cm of snow over the past 2-4 days. So gross! This winter had been brutal!

Fabulous! This is exactly what one must wear in the winter - seemingly clashing colours (e.g. this too) that work like a dream to off-set 17" of snow... and grey skies and long, cold days.
