I ended up wearing as a casual outfit piece with jeans and boots on the ship (not outerwear) -- where it got compliments and even an inquiry from someone who thought it was leather. Then when I was back on land in Reykjavik I wore it to walk around town for a few days. It was a great combination of lightweight, warm, and fashionable as everyday casual outerwear with jeans, yet I knew that in a pinch I could wear it to go running. And I have found it washes nicely too. </p> <p>More recently, since I've been home, I've worn it to got to a couple of cool, postseason evening baseball games (go O's! and its worked out nicely. The weather right now is perfect for a jacket like this (in the 40s today). What do you think?</p> <p>I will have to figure out how often I will be able to wear it (certainly works as gear; not sure if I am going to be able to also wear it as outerwear over some of my work clothes, such as lightweight sweaters). </p>
