I don't have experience with the zara version but have another brand of jeggings with similar zips and have no problems with them. In terms of longevity, is it necessary for a trendy piece to last more than two seasons? I find that with the rotation of pants, most last far longer than I need them to regardless of brand.

If the nordstrom pair was available in the fig color, I would be all over that one.

Hi! These Zara paints are amazing! They are comfy and trendy. Great fit but Zara denin is not known for longevity. If you want a trendy piece to wear one or two seasons, you are fine.
These jeans go to the washing machine with no problem, the only problem I see with zippers is that they get stuck in some knit sweaters

I have been looking for a pair of grey jeans and came across these Zara jeans. They are trendier/edgier than I tend to wear; most of my bottoms are plain straight-leg denim. I was wondering if anyone had experience with Zara jeans and their longevity (stretching, thickness of material, hold up after washing, etc.)? Would the zippers (non-functional) create care problems?

Bonus: All the leather pants posts made me think of these motto pants from Free People.
