I've been admiring those SELF colour gizmos - still grinning, you do have a way with words - on other people for a while now and would really like to try them myself this year. (I was always under the impression that you had to have very slim legs for this, and mine are not at their slimmest at the moment;-) Would you be willing to share which brand/type of fish net that is Angie? There are so many to choose from, and I'm particular about fish nets. (well just about anything really, maybe you guys have noticed) Longing sigh, I would LOVE to Angie. I wear all sorts of hose in Winter and Autumn, Inge. I LOVE hose. I don’t wear opaque’s though. Just don’t find them pretty for my style, but they can work really well for other people. I prefer to wear sheer hose with SELF colour gizmos on them ( dots, squares, flowers). I am absolutely addicted to a very fine black fish net that looks incredible with everything. The netting is so fine you can barely see it. Your legs look textured. These are my “go to” stocking. As for the wool. I wore a school uniform for 12 years and I will sadly never wear wool tights again, but I do think they look sweet. Oh Inge, come over! We would have SUUUUUCH fun! Their USP is more ease of shopping (the free shipping/returns and one day deliveries) and a wide variety of shoes rather than low prices. Nicole..I know I sound fussy but I do have a very weird foot structure. My feet are happiest in thong style sandals. And the only closed toe style that is the most comfortable is square toes though once in a while I do find round toe styles which are bearable to walk in for more than a couple hours. I just found out that there are quite a few companies who specialise in this '('package forwarding'). You have to pay a yearly membership, and then they give you a 'US address' (meaning everything gets shipped to their premises) and from there on it is shipped out to you (you then of course pay shipping costs and import duties if applicable). They even have a 'personal shopper' service (if a company doesn't allow you to buy things directly from them with a non-US credit card, they can buy the items for you and charge your card). It's not the cheapest option, but when you take the exchange rate into account (US dollars to euros), I might still get a bargain here and there. Not sure if this would be the case for Canada? I only intend to use it for things that are special enough and that I really can't get over here.
