I have really skinny legs, so if I'm checking out a shoe at a retailer, I'll head over to Zappos to see if they also carry it and have a video. I figure that most models have skinny legs like mine, and the video helps me know whether the shoe will look OK on me. But I also find them a bit hilarious with the way the models/sales reps (?) describe each pair.
