I like the reworked dress so much better. It seems like you instead of you wearing a costume dress.

The tunic - I like with boots (and love the boots). Give it a go with the gray jeans and a bit of yellow mixed in (or red?) possibly.

Love your style - rocker chic? In a good way

I want those boots, Tam. They are HOT and perfect for Seattle. My fingers are crossed for the NAS.

The frock looks splendid too. Amidst all the creative ideas, how about popping a waistcoat over the tunic?

Thanks for the suggestions Joy!! The only pencil skirt I have is brown suede, so I'm not sure it will work. As for white jeans I like that idea, but also don't have them. I have light grey jeans that I haven't tried it with because I'd worried it was too much grey. Kristen maybe a pop of colour like you suggested will take care of that, I'll give it a go anyway!!!

Alecia my stirrups are very opaque tights material, not leggings material so I think this top would feel too short for them. I'll give it a go though to see - that is a good thought!! I see what you mean about the broad chested thing, I do have a very broad and deep ribcage. I'll try your idea of the v-necklace too. I don't know if this dress is worth altering to make a v-neck, but that would be another option too I guess!!!

And thanks for the killer boots rating Angie. I love the fact that I bought them in SF so they bring back nice holiday memories!!

Tam, I much prefer outfit #2 with the tunic than the first. You look much leaner. I think it's the boots. As for other ideas, I think Joy had some good ones. Is the tunic too short to wear with those stirrup leggings?

I'm not sold on the dress. Sorry. It makes your chest look really broad. I do prefer it in this outfit but it's still not your best. Maybe you could wear a longer necklace that could create a v-shape? I think you need to do something to draw the eye way from or camouflage the neckline.

I love that sweater top, and Joy has some great suggestions for it. The slim bottom is definitely the way to go with it. Do you think you could also get some more color up at your neck, just to give it a bang? I'm thinking maybe a bright collared shirt under the sweater...I really like the yellow watch peeking out at your wrist, and would like to see something like that elsewhere on the outfit too.

Your sweater tunic has enough volume to call for something slim on the bottom. I could see it with cream or white slim pants for spring. I could also see it with a pencil skirt and boots...maybe a denim pencil skirt.
I'd like to see you try wearing the tunic with a long scarf and think just the right print scarf that includes a grey in the sweater could be stunning and unexpected...maybe a heathery large abstract or watercolor floral or yellow and grey polkadots.

Here's 2 outfits that rework the sweater tunic and printed dress I recently bought from Target.

What do you think? Can you please suggest other ways I can wear this sweater top? I am liking this 2nd attempt at the dress a lot better than the first.
