Thank heavens it worked out so well for you. I am looking at the 505s that Beth Ann posted. I wore levis for years and loved them. You're right about the heavier fabric. Maybe that's exactly what I need for white jeans. It drives me nuts to have to cut out the pockets. Great list, kkards! I've been trying to find a black blazer for the longest time. I'll try the BR. Catnip, you crack me up. I'm a Soma panty girl too. I can probably match you on numbers there! I also have 2 pair of jeggings from Chico's. I bought them 2 or 3 years ago, and they sat with tags still on for at least a year. Then one day I was very frustrated that the button flap on another pair of jeans was so clearly visible (protruding) through a fitted sweater I wanted to wear untucked. I pulled out a pair of the jeggings just to see, and finally figured out why jeggings were a good idea. I also have a pair of bootcuts from Chico's. I actually still love my Patagonia jackets. The nano puff I love for the color (silver) and for its packability. I can stuff it in its pocket and take it in my carryon on a plane or in my backpack in the field in case I need extra warmth. The down jacket is fairly new and a beautiful ice blue color. I don't wear it all the time (we live in the drought part of the world) but when we're out in the field in the cold, it's a luxurious layer under a shell. Last weekend we were up at 3:30 to get to the birds' breeding ground. The birds were active displaying from before dawn until around 9 am. So that was a lot of standing around in the cold and dark, in just a sprinkling of snow. Very very cold. It definitely had the potential to be miserable! But I was toasty in the jacket. If I were in the polar vortex part of the world, I would probably hate my outerwear too. A year or two ago this would not have been the case at all either... Woo hoo! Now, HEWI white jeans. I have three pair. A Levis' 515 bootcut full length, JCrew "high heel" flares.... hemmed for flats! But the flares nice when I am looking for something dramatic and my most fav are a pair of Levis 515 bootcut cut off to mid calf length. I was thinking I wanted white BF's so I was at Old Navy trying some on and though.... there are really sooo much like jeans I already have. So I got home, cut of the one pair of 515's right as the boot area started to flare out (about 7" above the hem) and rolled a few times. Have been my favorites since then. Actually thinking of doing the same to my other pair. I like the Levi material (granted mine are a few years old) so I bet the Levi 505 PSA from Kohls that Beth Ann just posted might be a good place to start. F21 La Vie Boho Skinny Jeans: they're comfy and fun, and something a little different 3. BR Twill Ankle Pant: I love the color, and I wanted something cropped for spring 4. Buckle cardigan: Very versatile and unusual; again, goes with lots in my closet 5. WHBM Embroidered Baroque Bootcuts: comfy with just a touch of bling 6&7. H&M and ASOS skater skirts: fun to wear, with lots of movement (not many of my clothes have movement, and I want to add more) 8. H&M Leather Pencil Skirt: sexy but not over-the-top, and goes with almost everything 9. Target scarf: I call it my "confetti" scarf. It is made up of lots of colors, although they are muted. My favs seem to be older because I like brown and jewellery.  Brown will come back in style. I had that same debate with myself standing in my closet last night. My most worn/useful list would be very different. The Lucky jeans are the only item that I think would crossover. Most worn items are black slacks, cream silk blouse, all 3 pair of black sandals in the pictures above, the black belt in the pics above, etc. But when it came down to it, most of these items fit well and are great go-tos for me, but they don't make my heart sing just to put them on. Also, Except for the Luckys, my most worn items all feel replaceable to me. I can easily find another pair of black pants or sandals that would work just as well. The favorites feel much more like things that I may never be able to substitute to the same effect. I bought it in San Diego two years ago, so I feel extra fab in it The trench season is fairly short here, only a few weeks each spring and fall, so I try to wear it a lot while I can. 2. Pale blue sweater. I knitted this one myself, and I'm wearing it all the time, too. That hasn't happened to many of my hand knits! I love the color and the drape, and it goes with everything. 3. These were a bit on the tight side at first, but have given a little, so now they fit like a dream. I haven't regretted my suit purchase for a second.  6. The Ted Baker floral top. It works with everything in my closet. 7. White Levis Slim Legs Classic Rise Jeans. So versatile, and fits like a dream. 8. Cream Danier leather satchel. I adore it, and am so happy that Shannon helped me getting it. True YLF power! 9. Adidas Gazelle sneakers in black suede. I wear them all the time, and I'm challenging myself to wear them with skirts, too.  10. Stone suede booties. It's finally dry enough on the ground to wear such delicate suede, and I think they are great for Spring.  I would like to mention my metallic pumps and my Breton, and of course my dear old stone moto. Add in a pencil (just above the knee or midi), and I think I have what I wear the most right now.
