I would, but I don't love near a Rudsak and they are sold out online! Alas! They are super gorgeous though.

@Nicole: hah! Have fun with Rudsak! I looove their jackets and I will eventually get a winter coat there once I feel my Aritzia coat wears out (it's on year 3 this year). They have amazing accessories here - and clothes that are to my taste (except they are polyester. Yuck!)

I'm going to try to research what people have done with their footwear when they have different-sized feet. I'm still trying to figure out this issue with my Naot sandals at the moment.

@Ceit: thanks for the warning!!! You have noooo idea how much I appreciate it. The front stretching is EXACTLY what happened to my high Naot wedges so my foot started flopping around, which resulted in this week's foot pain when my foot flexes when I walk - that's usually a bad sign!

Wow, Ceit thanks so much!

Aaaaand... Though the 2nd style is too heavy on me I think YOU can pull thus style off better are you considering it?

COMFORT! Remember that is most important.

Otherwise, I LOVE the yellow.

@Suz: thanks so much for reminding me of the comfort factor. This is why I'm so glad I created this post instead of buying the yellows straight out: I was sort of iffy about it despite loving the style. I really don't know what to do with my right foot - even on all my Naot sandals, my right foot flops around and I can't quite figure out how to deal with it.

I have a yellow bag as well! It doesn't get a lot of wear because it's smaller than my black bag (I often stash shoes in as backup comfort shoes). I love it and I pretty much love yellow accessories all around. It looks fabulous with my all black outfits!
.
And agreed with the black shoe: more outfit shots would be good!

@cciele: haha! I love Rudsak and it just recently fell back in my radar after trying on a pair of Rudsak loafers in Marshall's (I'm wishy-washing about that too due to style this time, not comfort).

But yeah, the black one has to be seen with other outfits... So really I'm not quite sure whether I should get it.

I caution you on the style of 1. They are lovely, but that leather is going to stretch and your feet are going to flop around even more. The vast part of your foot is unsupported, and your foot will flex and move as you walk.

I love the second ones!

Thanks for introducing me to this brand - I think! Could be big time dangerous. I adore the Steeles (perforations are my catnip) but you're correct, they are a bit too much around the ankle IRL. The yellow ones are divine - drat that floppy fit issue. Are you some kind of wizard with the sticky foot pads, cause it sounds like you will have to be.

I just fell off my chair looking at those sandals.
Edgy and comfy! I am envying you Canadians right now :)
I see what you mean by the black ones. They do look heavy, but I wonder if some styling could help with that.

I think the style of both is cool for you and fits your criteria. But I really, really worry when you say they are not comfortable straight off. That's not a good thing for you! You are talking about your health here, you know??? And I would hate to see orphaned footwear.

I think yellow is a fabulous colour for shoes and accessories, esp. if it does not feature highly in your wardrobe. (I had a bag that yellow a few years ago and adored it. Sadly, it wore out. Which will happen if you use something hard every day for months on end.)

The black shoes ARE a bit intense -- it would help to see some shots with outfits to get a better idea.

I discovered that Rudsak (I believe they are Canadian) has a huge sale on footwear. I checked out their website and two models passed my criteria:

- thick rigid forefoot sole/platform (easier on my arthritic toes)
- low wedge. Total of 1.5 inches with a 0.5 inch platform.
- adequate arch support
- edgy/tough
- modern

So below are photos of the shoes on me and links to the actual page on the Rudsak site. And my thoughts:

1-3: http://www.rudsak.com/en/women.....ver-citron
I really wanted this in black because I wanted more modern and dressed up shoe than my ultra casual Naots. I tried the yellow one because the black one was unavailable. I loved it. It looked so good with my cobalt top and VC midi (maaaybe this shoe was the missing formula!). My only issue was my right foot (as always): it's too small for the shoe so it flopped around the shoe a lot. Has anyone had issues like this in the past? I have low volume feet so that might partially be why. I'm thinking that IF i decide to purchase it, I'm going to need to use a lot of stick-on cushions on the right foot so it doesn't flop around (flopping around causes my right foot pain).

4-6: http://www.rudsak.com/en/women.....eele-black
When I slipped my feet in this shoe, I smiled. Though the footbed is the same as the yellow one, for some reason, this is more comfortable. Minor flop page on the right foot... HOWEVER... I looked in the mirror and thought it was just too edgy/tough for my tastes... Though.... My mind changes about them every few seconds. Sometimes I like them and other times I feel it looks "too heavy". But the comfort... OH THE COMFORT! Aaand... I can slip on my insoles in them.

The verdict so far: I'm duplicating. I'm ordering the black version of the yellow shoe online and I'm likely getting the yellow shoe in the store. I'll have to remedy the foot-flop issue somehow though. I'm waiting a weekend before I decide on something solid.

I'm a sucker for yellow accessories and shoes...

The other black shoe: I need to sort out how I feel about it. These are good prices for well-made pairs of shoes. I'm going to see if I still think the shoes are too heavy. I have a pair of higher heeled Fluevog Sandal booties but they're not quite as heavy-looking as this. I need to sort out how I feel first.

Any thoughts?
