These are very casual and&nbsp;sporty, and while I prefer&nbsp;polished, dressy&nbsp;and more refined looks&nbsp;98% of the time, I could see these work for me as my "more polished"&nbsp;version (to Joy's point)&nbsp;of the slip-on sneaker.&nbsp;</p> <p>That's also why I prefer the gold metallic for myself, even though the orange and red are very fun. The metallic automatically makes them a little more polished too.</p> <p>Laura - good point about the white part, but I have a product I also use to keep my Converse white and I think that will help keep these looking nice too. &nbsp;I certainly like my footwear to last longer than one season, but I somehow think these wouldn't look dated by next year.</p> <p>Deb - I know Geox as a brand that usually makes comfy footwear, but have never owned a pair. I did try on a flat loafer in a store a few weeks ago and they felt great, but I was in between sizes in that style. So not sure if this one will fit right.
