I bought a pair of tartan pants, ( Pendleton) that I've worn with a black boyfriend cardi, a black tneck, or a black cashmere v-neck over a white shirt. For our office party, I wore a black velvet blazer, black gab pants, and a white ruffle front blouse. I have a black watch blazer that I wore with a black tneck, black skirt and black tights. On Christmas, I wore the tartan pants with a white cashmere jewel neck sweater. So, as much as I love red, black won out this year...I do love how it always looks dressy and special. However, this year we are traveling and dressing out of a suitcase. I'm getting lots of wear out of faded jeans and a big cherry red sweater or a red Snoopy Christmas graphic tee and navy blazer, dark red and navy plaid jeans with dark red or navy tops, and metallic gold jeans mostly with black as the jeans have lots of black in them. To dress up a bit more, I'm wearing a black alpaca sweater dress from the Style Exchange and member Nancylee with black fishnet tights and my tall black boots and blingy snowflake earrings. I also have a black and white patterned, cropped pullover that can be worn over the dress so that it functions as a skirt.
