If a print combines tomato red, aqua/turquoise, and navy, I've got to have it. For spring and summer I love white with sand (although it's too washed out on me). I guess it also speaks to my interest in interiors, and was important in my design days- making colour stories, etc. </p> <p>The combos I always seem to gravitate to are: </p> <p>- Any combination of mustard gold, eggplant purple, teal and dark brown. Any two, three, or even all four together are delicious to me. </p> <p>- A yellow-y olive green with brown and mustard gold. This is my "signature palette", and I'm likely to receive things that combine these shades as gifts- "I just thought of you!"</p> <p>- Navy and black.</p> <p>- Brown and black. (I know a lot of people don't like this one but I just love it, for some reason.)</p> <p>- Almost any combo of green and pink, as long as the intensities vary (fuschia with olive, rose with forest). I'm not ready to try all these shades, but there are some combinations I like:</p> <p>1. Dark blue with turquoise. Makes me think of deep sea lit by sunlight.<br /> 2. Cream with navy blue. Less formal than black &amp; white, but still gives that classy and elegant vibe.<br /> 3. Emerald green with dark brown. A bit similar to my natural eye and hair colour.<br /> 4. Amaranth with ultramarine (and possibly white). Contrasting and saturated, but not really bright.<br /> 5. Plum with teal. Rich and beautiful.<br /> 6. Crimson with charcoal. The neutral nicely balances the saturated crimson.<br /> 7. Cobalt blue with warm brown. Contrasting, but universal. I think it looks especially good on brown-haired, blue-eyed people.</p> <p>What about you? Do you have any combinations you really love? </p>
