My absolute fave black jacket is worn for both work and weekend much of the year, just not the very coldest days or very hottest. I chose it carefully to replace a very soft thin merino jacket that was wearing out, from a brand and in a shape that I already knew worked. It is acrylic and polyester, unlined and soft. I bought it in 2016 and it has already been worn 60 times.<br /> My summer fave is the newish floral bomber bought on super sale in March 2016 and worn 33 times so far. It cost $30 so under $1 per wear. It is a standout piece but I have been mixing florals quite a lot. On a cold day I may wear a coat over the top of it, especially for mornings and evenings, when it can as low as 6-8 C, and is often windy as well.</p> <p>I'd like a cropped fitted denim jacket, but have put off getting one as it would split wears with the moto.</p> <p>My puffer, like RL's is  a coat rather than a jacket. Our puffers in Australia are quite lightweight and I wear it on rainy winter days rather than a wool coat. It is similar to the Find. That one is also a well-worn favorite, but navy. I wish that I had one in white. A close second is my white jean jacket. It used to be a blazer but I am reaching for a less structured jacket these days. </p>
