I remembered from what I’d seen of her, our bodies were pretty similar so I decided to do a Google image search. When I came across the photos of her in the grey shorts and T, my husband (suffering from miopia and having mistaken her for me) looked from across the couch and asked me when those photos had been taken, and where… and most importantly by whom. When I gave him a closer look and told him they were of an actress, he said “Well, she should hire you as a body double”. </p> <p>I’m a big fan of twiggy too. I was born in a country where curvy bodies have always and still are considered the ideal. So I was always “that skinny girl” (also, “that pale girl”) although it never really bothered me and I eventually came to embrace it. Although she has more width than me (especially now that she is really muscular), the shape of her butt and thighs especially are really similar to mine, along with a narrow waist. Sometimes when I feel really self-conscious about those body parts I look at pictures of her to get a confidence boost, but as far as style goes hers is wildly different to mine, so I rarely take note of that.
