Mine seems extravagant but, don't forget, my friend sees to my hair and charges very little. To put it in perspective my neighbour paid for a cut and set what I pay for two weeks of setting!&nbsp;<br />Fine hair can be a nightmare but with Sue's help and voluminising shampoos she is able to make my hair look fuller. I am fortunate in that I still have my original mouse-coloured hair! Daughter commented the other day my hair seemed darker. Not sure why, unless it's the vitamins I take.</p> <p>I have one more treat in store.....which needs a new post!! </p> </p> <p>I have been asked to post an image of my hair style. This was taken today but hair, as you can see , needs setting. My hair is really starting to get gray and I don't like it gray. It costs quite a bit more, but she spends a full hour with me. She does a great job. So that is one of my treats for 2020. I might also get a facial, as some others have mentioned. OMG...if you have never been, I highly recommend searching one out. Worth every penny!</p> <p>Nothing like laying full naked on a massage table, rows of women on either side, getting every inch of your body scrubbed and occasionally opening your eyes to see "eraser shavings" of dead skin falling away...! Then the WOOSH of hot water washing all the years away, and suddenly your entire body feels as soft as a baby! I do not lie....BEST EVER&nbsp;</p> <p>I try to go every few months and feel like a new woman each time. And the hot pool soaks are a wonderful time to catch up with my girlfriends, and my mama likes to go to! When she broke her elbow my sisters and I took turns spending a week with her. On my week she was griping about being overdue for a perm. I set her hair for her and discovered she had beautiful wavy hair! I couldn't believe it.&nbsp;</p> <p>After she developed dementia but wasn't too far into it, she made my sister promise to have her hair nicely cut and curled for her funeral. And make sure they didn't put too much make-up on her.&nbsp;</p> <p>I went through a perm stage in the 80s, but it was too damaging for my fine hair. I went to an expert in SF and he told me to never ever have another perm.&nbsp;</p> <p>As far as my treat this year, I haven't thought about it.
