I think I have more gray and gray patterns than anything else. For blue jeans I tend to wear cognac. But yes, with my black jeans and sometimes my gray jeans, I wear the black belts below. I also have a plainer belt but I don’t wear it often due to its poor quality. Or was that the post I lost? Many of my belts predate the Finds like my harness belt. I generally keep belts until they wear out or get too small. I used to have a 24 inch waist, so those waist belts are long gone. Same with the mid-rise belts from those days. I have a number of belts made from obi fabric (so dressy) just waiting for fitted waists to come back. But now, I would wear a topper so just the middle of my waist is exposed as I don't have nearly the waist I used to.</p> <p>Below is probably 1/4 of my belt collection. I'm afraid to count. But in my defense, I nearly always wear a belt with my jeans so they don't slide down. There should be lots of variety, and your eye will naturally gravitate toward the looks you like best. </p> <p>Body shape might also come into play as to which rises and belt widths look best on you. However I have noticed an even amount of women wearing both lower rises and high rises, myself included. My torso is long but even my shorter torso friends do alternate what rises they wear. If you feel like wearing the belts that are too long you can buy a belt hole puncher at any craft store for cheap and have new holes to wear them with any jeans you’d like. I don't tuck my tops now that high waisted styles are trending (I am short-waisted with big boobs and big hips, so I prefer not to divide up my torso even further with the visual bulk of a belt), so that negates the need for visible belts. Most of my belts are a little longer, from the years when rises were lower and I was belting further down on the hip, so they don't fit at the waist very well. I hang onto them because occasionally I'll wear one with a semi-tuck, and some of them I really like and want to hang onto in the event the trend swings back to more moderate or lower rises. I have some really nice ones, including a couple embellished with studs or hardware. I do wear my white one in summer a bit with white semi-tucked tops and casual shorts, as my shorts tend to be looser than my pants, and they sit lower on my hips, more like low or mid-rises.&nbsp;</p> <p>And yes, I have an old chain belt as well! I actually haven't been wearing many belts lately at all. The most worn lately have been the Western belt from Urban Outfitters and the wide Fossil belt. I like them because they are wide but not too wide. I've been wearing those with lower-rise jeans or pants. When I wear high-rise jeans, I generally don't wear a belt, but if I do, it will most likely be the J.
