They also have the high tops but I'm unsure whether these are my style.</p> <p>Anyway, I like how they dress down a dressy outfit.</p> <p>I think of these Eccos as shoes, not sneakers, as I wear them in non-athletic contexts and even wear them to work! Which model are they? I've been shopping for darker sneakers (not black) and am definitely considering Eccos although I'm leaning toward grey rather than tan and most of their neutral sneakers seem to be in the tan/brown colors this fall. </p> <p>Love the print on that Boden shirt too, although I've sworn off buying more button down shirts at least for now. I love the whole esthetic of that brand, I really must try something from them. </p> <p>I got my first pair of Ecco shoes earlier this summer thanks to YLF recommendations and can give another huge thumbs up. They are sandals (find below), and I've worn them so much the straps have stretched out around the ankle and around the toe,&nbsp;and only the ankle straps are adjustable so&nbsp;&nbsp;I may not get a second summer out of them. I ordered them from Zappos and when I took them out of the box I was pretty sure they'd be too narrow. They were not. And suddenly I realized why they were worth all that money...magical sneakers that make your feet look *smaller* than they really are! All kidding aside, I walked over 20,000 steps the first day I wore them and other than some minor rubbing, they were super comfortable. And I think they look nice.</p> <p>I also bought the Frye booties I mentioned in amother thread that I'd been lusting over for more than a year. I was glad I went to the Frye store to try them on because I had to size down to a 6.5, which happens hardly ever. And, not pictured, I bought some deeply discounted UGG boots mainly to wear in the house this winter.</p> <p>I also bought a couple of (what I thought were) non-basic tops. The one with the leopard print collar is from Garnet Hill and the shirt with the London print on it is from Boden. Finally, I bought a pair of what are called jeggings but are really straight leg ponte pants from Athleta. The color, which may not have photographed well, is "wild raisin." It's a color I like but which I can't wear near my face.</p> <p>Thanks for looking! </p>
