I wear my running bra for Yoga. I have a small chest though, 32C, so compression type doesn’t really bother me much because there isn’t much to compress.... I also wear my running tops. Most of them are long, and many have some sort of rushing, or maybe some sort of strechiness that keeps them in place. I need that for Pilates as well. Even though I don’t go upside down, exercises on the box of my reformer, and some parts of my workout do have me in positions where my shirt could shift. I wear whatever tall size tops I can find from Athleta. The simpler the top the better. I have done hot yoga before, and I wear a loose long top over my bra and compression shorts. I am not a fan....I get dizzy.

Style Fan, I tried the Lole bra and agree that the hooks on the side are a genius idea. Unfortunately, I need slightly more support and a smaller band. It's a pity they didn't work for me, but if anybody else is looking, I highly recommend trying them.

LaP, I should check out the Uniqlo tops. Their clothes fit me well. I don't do much hot yoga either.

I don't do sweaty yoga, and I don't go to classes that often; I'm mostly home-practice these days. I have yet to find a technical-fiber tank that doesn't either ride up because it's too fitted or just flop all over the place because it's too loose. I have a really old Icebreaker tank top that was perfect, but is starting to be full of holes, so I've switched to using my Uniqlo Supima-cotton tank tops instead -- they work fine for the low impact yoga that I do. But the big thing is they fit perfectly and stay put. I wear a Patagonia Active Mesh Sports Bra underneath -- a pretty basic, old school sports bra, but I like that it has V-straps instead of a racerback. No cups or underwire, but pretty thick (again, not great for high-sweat activities, but I'm not much of a sweater), and cut straight across, plenty of coverage. Not adjustable, so it either fits or it doesn't, but they work for me.

I love my wacoal sports bra. It has hooks and everything.

I'm nearing the point where I just bite the bullet and head to etsy to find tops. Etsy is great, but it takes some tweaking with their search filters to narrow down the options to a point that isn't overwhelming. I've had lounge pants made to my measurements at kobieta, and they have some tops that I like the look of for yoga. She uses soft fabrics that aren't synthetic/technical fabrics. If I don't feel good in my workout gear I'm less likely to use it.

My 'go to' sports bra is a Champion compression bra that I normally use for all my fitness activities (I have 5) however just yesterday I realized that I packed a pair of compression running shorts instead of my bra! I figured if I could garden all day in this bra, I could certainly do yoga. I did a fairly tough 90 minute flow class followed by a 1 hr restorative and was just fine. I usually wear a loose sweater (washable wool) over a tank top that is snug at the bottom (stays in place during inversions) and bra and remove the sweater when I get warm. Restorative requires layering up again and we even use blankies, so I put the sweater on and wool socks.

Folks wear everything from standard gym shorts and cotton tees to Lycra combos. (Classes are co-Ed and well attended by guys of all ages). One teacher (male) wears t-shirts with yoga motifs and white cotton trousers that look like the bottom of a gi. Another teacher always wears a dropped crotch pant and cotton top with long sleeves. The other two I know wear black Lycra capris and loose tops with some arm coverage.

My yoga classes are at a YMCA, so no fancy stuff like hot yoga, which might require a different kind of outfit.

LOL Style Fan I'm with you!!! Getting this (literally) sinking feeling as you do a handstand and feel your tee start revealing your midriff LOL. I do one of two things: remember to tuck but sometimes it's goofy looking or, with those looser tees, I tie a knot using a small elastic.

Nike dry-fit pro cool tee-shirt: fits really nice, it's surprising.
I wear mine here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1UF4ipgTek

Bras: Natori Zen Contour sports bras and Lululemon Ta Ta Tamer III
(separate and support, if that's what you are looking for). (For me sports bras are ticky because I need extra-strengh support with all the jumping, and unibras types tend to provide support by flattening, which then create ugly bulges in the back and under the arms. That's why I go for the ones mentioned above).

I wear Skinny Tees tank tops for yoga, they're extra long and stay in place for any pose. I use the reversible v-neck to round neck and with the v in back everything stays covered. I still wear a light sports bra underneath, because they're form fitting but not super supportive.

I notice that Lole has short sleeved Yoga tops that are looser fitting than Lululemon. The problem I have with that is the exposure when I go upside down.

Not sure where you live ELPGAL so this info may be worthless.
Since there is very limited shopping near me I go to online store called
“Her room “ . Have all kinds of foundation garments at all brands and price points.
I find foundations are very individualistic so no recommendations.

I'm interested in the bra part. I have tried every brand out there, or so it seems, and still end up with visible cleavage. Why are yoga and sports bras so low cut in front? I agree with SF that Lulu's yoga tops are too form fitting. Great for some people, I guess. Why are you sticking to short sleeved for yoga?

I am the same size as Janet and I wear the Lole Yoga bra for Yoga. I like it because there are hooks to adjust the band. It is the first Yoga bra I have found that fits. I would not wear it for impact sports though. It is not that supportive. Also, it does not provide 100% coverage.
Lululemon has short sleeved Ts for Yoga and running. I found them extremely tight fitting so I passed on them. I wear tanks or regular Ts.

I end up wearing my running tops for yoga sometimes, but I've only just recently started going back to yoga. I think I need some new tops for this too, since my running tees tend to be looser and fall up my body when I go to do downward dog, or I have to keep pulling them back down after moving around a bit. I need some good fitted but not too tight tops. I wouldn't mind sleeveless though. Heh, I also wear my running bras for yoga even though that's overkill, but my boobs are too big (similar size to you, 32G) to wear those cute little strappy bras I see around, and the coordinating tops that all have cutouts.

So, clearly I'm not helpful at all! But I'll be tagging along with you to see recommendations. Simple but good looking yoga tanks and tees with decent bra coverage would be welcome.

Has anybody seen a reasonable collection of short sleeved tops for yoga? All I am finding are strappy and/or sleeveless things.

Bra recommendations (30F) that work well with these tops are also welcome.

Long sleeved tops make me too hot. The best I could find is muscle-tees.
