But I'm on a very bright, saturated-color kick right now, so I chose to amp up the volume. In the true spirit of the inspiration photo, I shot this first thing in the morning with still slightly damp hair before leaving for work - and it was just getting to be bright outside on my porch.</p> <p>Blue abstract print wrap dress - the print feels very organic to me, and makes me think of water (albeit more ripply water than the photo displays) and on top, I went with a more hot-pink version with this silk scarf, although there are salmony-brown patches in the print. As the inspiration photo was taken in the Arizona, I attempted to evoke a Southwestern vibe with a kerchief-style scarf; however, it was too slippery to stay put on top of the dress, so instead I tucked it in.</p> <p>Yellow shoes and handbag are to evoke the yellow of the sunrise at the top of the dune, and the green glasses - well, those are just me!</p> <p>This is a great challenge so far, Bella - thanks again for getting us started! </p>
