Your rehearsal dress outfits (either one) are my favorite. Such a fun print! Flats definitely dress it down as would a denim jacket as Lisa suggested. The grey cardigan also works really well here and would work well with any dark or jeweled tone top. I love grey and for years I had a similar cardigan that was my singular neutral and a major workhorse. Also, loved your pants looks throughout! So, without further ado, Part 1. Part One-Going Healthy I would call this one of my normal exercise outfits during the summer. I just recently broke down and bought a couple of pairs of shorts and they have been awesome. And as a fun side note, I wear my fitbit everyday. Pic 1: Top – Adidas, shorts – Old Navy, shoes –Ascics. Remix – I could myself see wearing this outfit to run to the grocery store. To be perfectly honest, I’m not sure how often I would wear something like this. It feels a little too sporty for me. I think I’ll keep working on this one to see if I can come up with another interpretation of it. I’m not too sure what I would need to make this work in a weekend or errand running capsule. Maybe if I added more yoga-esque tops, that may make it a bit less sporty and more my speed. Pic 2: Top – Adidas, shorts – Old Navy, sandals - Chacos Part Two-Rehearsal Dinner Remix While I’m going to wait and wear this dress out for the first time at the rehearsal dinner (I don’t want to risk ruining it before then), I’ve already been wondering how I’ll incorporate this into my work wardrobe. I can see this as more of spring/summer dress because it’s fairly lightweight. For now, I’m pairing if with a ¾ sleeve because I’m always cold in my office. Pic 3: Cardigan – J. Crew Outlet, Dress – Modlcoth, Pumps – Clarks Remix – I haven’t been as great with repurposing special occasion clothes in the past because I was always worried about messing it up and then needing it again. I’m working on not saving my nice clothes for “just in case” scenarios. I could see wearing this to a girls evening or to a nice dinner. I feel like the flats help make it a little less formal. Pic 4: Cardigan – J. Crew, Dress – Modcloth, Flats - Clarks Part Three-Grey Cardigan Workhorse Ack! Pair it with pants! :D Ok, for this, I’m thinking more of an early-mid fall outfit that would be either a casual Friday or a nicer weekend outfit. I remember when I was trying to figure out why the gray cardigan wasn’t working, Angie pointed out that the outfit I liked with it with had a dark, saturated top. So, thinking about it like that, I went for a darker top and who doesn’t like a bit of foil? I think I have a latent Magpie gene. Pic 5: Cardigan – J. Crew Outlet, Top – Banana Republic Outlet, Jeans - Gap This is the one remix that really isn’t for me. I’m not comfortable wearing a cardigan buttoned up because I feel like it brings too much attention to my belly (I know it’s all in my head, but my confidence isn’t there yet). Once I get my confidence up, I’ll give this one a shot. I think I still prefer my cardigans with skirts and dresses best, but that’s more because I wear dresses and skirts to work normally. Once the weather starts cooling off, I’ll start pulling out my cardigans to wear with my pants. I’m also going to work on pairing more of my outfits with jackets once the wear cools down. Part Four-Signature Red When I started putting this part of the challenge together, I blended the challenge along with the bonus in my mind. So, instead of four outfits, I’m trying to use pic 7 for the bonus. I think I fall back to wearing red and blue together because blue is a neutral to me. I’m not a very loud dresser, so if I’m wearing my red shoes (or pants), I want those to be the star of the show. And most of my pants are jeans. I love Angie's outfits, but I didn't feel like her outfits were working for me today. But I'm sure they'll work tomorrow. I also felt like the pic 6 has a sportier vibe, but I think the skirt makes it work for me.  Pic 6: Top – Gap, Skirt – Tommy Hilfiger Pic 7: Top – Elizabeth and Clarke, Jeans - Gap Pic 8: Top – Ann Taylor Loft (I promise the stripes are black), Pants – Old Navy I didn’t realize that I paired my red with blue so much. I’ve been trying to rely less on black and I guess I’ve transferred everything I did with black to blue. Overall Reflection I really like the Signature Red outfits and the Gray Cardigan Workhorse outfit. I really feel like this challenge has made me think about why I chose the colors and pieces that I wear. Part Three-Grey Cardigan Workhorse Challenge-In one of your threads you mentioned struggling to style your grey cardigan, which you hoped would be a workhorse.  I also noticed that you typically pair cardigans with skirts and dresses.  Please style your cardigan into an outfit combination that pairs it with a color you have not done before, and it must include trousers or jeans. Bonus-I notice your cardigans are typically worn as a topper (ie over another top), are you comfortable creating an outfit with the cardigan buttoned up, so it is the top all by itself? Reflection-Do you still prefer a cardigan as a topper over skirts and dresses best?
