The little pop of white is magical. The collar adds even more ladylike vibe if possible - the magic of a small difference.&nbsp;I also think that with it being spring&nbsp;if you try nude hose or even patterned/textured nude hose you have a whole new look. There certainly &nbsp;are a few things that I kept trying&nbsp; to incorporate in my daily outfits in the past&nbsp;and failed. I find &nbsp;YLF&nbsp;&nbsp;such a fab inspiration, that it always worths&nbsp;keep on trying. Let's see.</p> <p>1. The dreaded (white) button down. I found it always&nbsp;too dressy, fussy&nbsp;and sobre for me. Last time I wore a white button down and felt&nbsp;fab was 8 yrs ago(nr.1). Of a thin drapey poplin with a dramatic collars/french cuffs I still couldn't wear it on it's own, but only teamed with a chanel like boucle jacket, a midi&nbsp;denim skirt and pointy toes.(Wow,&nbsp;does it mean I made the unconventional juxtaposition thing all before the trend&nbsp;came live?). </p> <p>Anyway,&nbsp;I never succeded to &nbsp;put together the same outfit since then. I hate to layer on long sleeved&nbsp;crisp shirts-so almost forgot about all the thing.&nbsp;But YLF &nbsp;kept working on me: Shinny mentioned she has blouses instead of crisp shirts and&nbsp;Astrid wanted&nbsp;a sleeveless one for the same hate of her layering on long sleeves.&nbsp;So, you guess&nbsp;my new button down is&nbsp;made of a&nbsp; thin, drapey, silk blend and is sleeveless(H&amp;M). </p> <p>I wore&nbsp;&nbsp;my wool&nbsp;shift&nbsp;dress &nbsp;many times to work this season&nbsp;with the front ziperred, ribbed&nbsp;jersey(?) jacket (both&nbsp;were purchased in fall)&nbsp;and was always fine, almost a FFBO. Layering the sleeveless button down under it&nbsp;will keep&nbsp;pushing me out of my comfort zone but&nbsp;it feels quite good and still me-at the moment.&nbsp;Shoes are also new&nbsp;kitten heel pointy toes(happy as a clam as they are&nbsp;so comfy and&nbsp;leather). What do you say? Thus, I will probably only wear&nbsp;this in fall and winter.</p> <p>2.&nbsp;&nbsp;As having some apple tendencies, my other, always&nbsp;pushing on my comfort zone, thing&nbsp;is&nbsp;tucking.&nbsp;I kept on trying last night&nbsp;and I&nbsp;think I succeded to make it my own look &nbsp;with this light blue cotton shirt(alos new). Then added a belt and called it another completed huge challenge(as it is metallic and studded). Pencil and wedges are navy and &nbsp;worn with black&nbsp;dotted&nbsp;sheers as button down has&nbsp;&nbsp;some dots on the inner collar and cuffs, too:-)</p> <p>3. Other than in summer my other dreaded challenges are&nbsp;&nbsp;brights. Still I kept&nbsp;trying&nbsp; and over the time&nbsp;got the love for some, like corals, persimmon and citron. The citron cardi is&nbsp; new this spring&nbsp;and wore it many times with&nbsp;the metallic beaded tank(untucked) but&nbsp; it&nbsp;just kept screaming about a&nbsp;more fluid fit blouse I didn't had for yrs. I found one of my liking(double silky layered front, quilted shouders and can you see the fine studs?) but it&nbsp;is insanely&nbsp;long, so guess what? It also&nbsp;had to be tucked, and belted!:-). Grey studded on the back heel pumps and grey sheers completed the look. &nbsp;I'm not only playing with this one ideea, but wear&nbsp;it today and felt fab all the way!</p> <p>Long story short, I had so much fun and great time putting these outfits together! Thanx kkard for the great challenge-it really helped me to&nbsp;&nbsp;gain&nbsp; more confidence&nbsp;on the dreaded items and styles and thanx y'all for following&nbsp;3 little chips&nbsp;of my style journey here.
