I thought the occasion warranted a new dress even though I have special occasion dresses that could work. I have never been to the wedding of a spry 83 year old. But it's also clearly not giving you the look you were after. Sizing up could help get the overall looser look seen on the model, but as for the shoulder, who knows? (Plus my newish red glasses). The sleeves are too long, a rarity. The open shoulder is barely open. I have to scrunch it to get it open but then it just closes up again and it ends up looking like a wide scoop with a tiny open triangle. I purchased it because I liked the idea of showing off the pretty straps from my black Marie Jo bra, which you can see in the picture only because I uncovered it on purpose. Why not? This looks frumpy as anything on me right? I see nothing complementary about this at all. I think it even makes the jeans look bad. </p> <p>For comparison I included a picture of the jeans with a Chelsea 28 top that looks much better. Wrong glasses for the top -should have switched to my green specs, but time is short. </p> <p>Sorry for the bed head.</p> <p>So, why is this so awful?
