Oh they are cute too Maya. However they are pretty similar to a black pair I bought in Hong Kong, although mine don't fold up. I haven't posted pics yet but have worn them to work several times and they are waaaaay comfy!

I think those red booties are calling me though. My Mum said if I order them that would be my Christmas pressie from her. So do you wear black hose with them Angie? Surely red hose would be waaaay to much red even if it means keeping the leg line longer?

These might only be similar to me, but I can see some parallels (big cuff and wedge heel...though much lower). Plus it can be pulled up to be a mid calf boot.

http://www.karmaloop.com/produ.....orCode=BCS

Not sure if it's to your liking but thought it was worth mentioning.

And I am a fellow magpie with a deep love for anything tomato red, Tam! The heel on the BC bootie is 2 inches (not 2.75 as measured on the diagonal). I actually do wear the bright red pair with dresses, skirts and hose - and pants.

OK you guys have talked me out of it successfully Much as I love the look I don't want to risk a pair of shoes I can't stand, let alone walk in. I didn't even stop and think how high 3.5" would be - just the idea of heels themselves are a foreign concept for me :)

So perhaps I should be leaning towards something more like the BC footwear bootie you posted in the store then Angie? I'll admit the tomato red colour certainly caught my eye (I am like a magpie when it comes to anything red!). And I love the buckle. Do you wear these with hose and dresses or just pants? Is a 2.75 inch heel still too high for me do you think?

They are super cute Tam, the heels are on the taller side, but is it possible they have some sort of hidden platform? (I can't tell for certain from the pictures). That would make them easier to walk in.

Booties with skirts and dresses is always a matter of trying them on yourself, in my opinion. But you have great legs and I have a feeling you could totally pull off this look.

There, I'm not helping here am I?-)

Tam, I find with heel height you have to know your own limits and be prepared to only wear those shoes within your limitations. If you're okay with only wearing these under certain circumstances, like when you won't be on your feet a lot, then you should give them a shot! I can't say what your limitations are. I couldn't stand 3.5" heels for two secs, but Taylor and Kristen can rock them effortlessly.

But I do think if you're not used to wearing heels, 3.5" is a pretty dramatic height. I only wear heels when I'm wearing boots, and I find my feet have to adjust when winter begins, after 6 months of flats. The balls of my feet ache just from 1.5" heels at first, but after a few wears they get used to it again.

Ok sorry to spam the forum today. But whilst I'm considering the UO jeans, I'm also contemplating a pair of grey booties I've had my eye on for months and that are suprisingly still available online.

http://www.urbanoutfitters.com.....d=16429243

I think they are too cute for words. But has anyone tried them on and can comment on their fit and comfort level?

I'm even more hesitant about them because I worry the colour would make them leg shortening if wearing them with dresses/skirts. Also I can count on one hand the number of times I have worn heels this year, so I worry they would be too high for me. They are also very inaprropriate for an Australian summer, but it will cool down again here someday.

So all things considered, would or would not this be a crazy purchase??
