US size 8's are usually too big on me and that's why I think the Boden size 12 might be too big. The problem is that while these (size 10) look good in the photo, I could barely get them buttoned! Several people have reported that the Boden's don't stretch much so I think these aren't an option for me.</p> <p>I think part of the problem for me is that my waist has gotten bigger. Darned middle-age! I've started walking again and am trying yoga. The 10R's are pretty much skin tight on me. I feel like I'm stuffed into them and spilling over the top. </p> <p>I'm going to exchange them for the 12's and hope that they won't be too big.</p> <p>Here's a picture so you can see the wash. It's darker than I thought but has more fading on the thighs than I expected. My COH jeans are a size 27 which I have been told is a size 4. I ordered the 8's in the Boden clams and I couldn't get them on (both white and blue denim). I sent them back and ordered the 10 and here is a picture of them.
