The flounce is spot on if you are after the full vintage seventies look. If not, you could easily remove it and achieve a lovely tea length frock. I didn’t bother to check the silhouette or anything else! The fact that it was a maxi in a beautiful shade of yellow was enough to lure me in to buying it. Plus, the price was SO reasonable. So happily I got it home and did not even waste a second trying it on. However, once I wore it, I realised that the cut/silhouette didn’t flatter my body-type much! I mean I love the colour and the fit on the top, but the lower part has a funny cut which makes me look bigger than I actually am. I quickly got myself clicked in it so as to analyse if this maxi is any good (for me at least). I also wore a necklace to get an idea of how it would look accessorized.
