My yellow is probably more of a gold yellow than a bright yellow. I think that it is more about the contrast of both bright and black being very bold and if that would be overwhelming for your petite frame. I keep trying it on with different combos but nothing has made it to the point of pulling off the tags yet. (I keep everything intact until I wear it; I've returned so much since January!) </p> <p>I had the same bumblebee worry, which is part of why I haven't put it with anything yet. But I just got a pair of light brown pants that would work, so maybe tomorrow. Also gray, khakis, white, and any non-black neutral would work for bottoms, and if you did one of those you could probably then do a black vest or cardi.
