(The seam isn't visible at the top of the toes.) Seeing the toes of your hose (no matter what kind of hose they are) peek out the front of your shoe is up there, in terms of fashion faux pas, with polka-dot panties showing through white pants. </p> <p>I have heard that they make sheer tights with open toes. Those might be OK, if your shoe covers up the edge of the toe-hole. I've never actually seen anyone wearing a pair, though.</p> <p>And hose with sandals? Nonononononooooo. I figure I'll only rarely be able to go sans hose (with a midi skirt, or a longer skirt and boots)... should I just chuck out my peep-toe pumps?
