I like this look with those heavier clog-like shoes (Swedish Has-Beens) where it looks deliberate, but I'm not loving this - sorry!

Since there are peep toes with more or less peepage, these are not the smallest peep, so I would not do it if I'm trying to stay good with the fashion police.

I think you all are right - I need a more substantial shoe to balance the opaque tights. When I think back to open toe shoes/opaque tights outfits I've liked in the past that does seem to be the answer. Ah well, I'm sure the shoes will get out another time

I like the look in general (contrary to popular opinion! hehe), but I agree these shoes seem a bit too delicate.

I've worn tights with peep-toes also but it's usually a more substantial shoe - an open-toed bootie or platform with more substance. In your instance, I would vote no, just because the shoe in general seems too open and summery.

as long as the seems don't show, I'm ok with it. I like closed toes better though

took me a while, but noe i am a fan. opaque so you don't see the toe and the seam must be hiddn...then you are good to go. i wear this look with open toes booties.

I don't mind the stockinged peeps normally, but I'm voting nay. They *almost* work to my eye, but these shoes are more open toe than peep toe, and that's too much stocking covered feet peeking out for me. Maybe brave the balmy chill without hose and show off the cute flats?

I am voting nay. I think maybe I should have listed this in my poison eye list on Diana's thread the other day!

In fact it doesn't look so bad with these because the tights are so opaque, but I would just feel squirmy about it all day, myself.

I haven't seen that done before. When I read it, I was expecting to look at the picture and not like them. But because the tights are so opaque, it looks fine to my eye.

Since tomorrow is supposed to be another balmy 10+ degrees (Celsius) in my corner of Southwestern Ontario tomorrow, I thought I might get another wear out of these patent peep toe wedges. Planning to wear them to work with a pencil skirt.

Is it okay to wear them with opaque tights? Is that still a thing people do?
