I love the first ones best! They look so delightfully tongue-in-cheek 'Western' --- bandana, meet beat-up old pants!

I'd probably just want to see a white shirt with pebble-y buttons and a bolo tie on top. Or go mad with *another* paisley print or a madras check. And some studded boots/booties, possibly also in white --- something like Anna's...? Plus a cowhide bag (like Rae's DIY).

Alternatively, play with the Americana appeal by adding a faded Holly Hobby-ish patchwork smock in stripes, checks, star prints, more paisley, a few chintzy florals. A more boho silhouette, so maybe sandals below? And a pouchy, slouchy drawstring bag. In an unexpectedly mad-bright colour: emerald green, a la Una? or good ol' trendy Tangerine Tango? Or Suz's yellow?

(personally I could carry off the second better than the first, but hey, while we're dreaming...!)

I like both of them! I think the print works well with the skinny silhouette and makes them look edgy and current. I can't really decide between the two though!

Huh I don't usually like paisley but I am surprised that I really like both of these! Especially #1, but that's because it's "summer"

Oh, yay, I'm glad I'm not the only who likes these.

Not sure how I would style, honestly...I think they would go with most solid colored tops and tunics, and possibly also stripes. Red might be fun.

I think the first pair would also go nicely with a slouchy button-down, maybe semi-tucked. I'd probably stick with longer tunics/dresses for the second pair, since they read as much more legging-ish IRL. (They are super comfy though!) Or... since Una mentioned they look Indian, they might actually be fun under a kurta-inspired top.

I like them both, and agree with rae that they don't have the pajama look that soft ones do. If I were to pick a fav, I'd go with the darker print.

I think they're both fun. Better than soft paisley pants, IMO, which can easily look like pajamas (I think Janets are an exception - it helps that she's so tall and leggy). I am curious as to how you would style these. I am having a hard time picturing outfits.

The COH's wouldn't flatter me even if they had my size, but I love them!

I do prefer the darker print on the Gap pair, but I agree that they look more like leggings than jeans. I would wear them as leggings under a dress, skirt, or tunic.

I can't decide whether I like these or not. Is the dark paisley print on the light wash jeans weird? (Photo 1)

http://piperlime.gap.com/brows.....=305200002

I also tried these on recently at Gap, and I think I actually like the print better than the COH ones, but I thought they were too short and a bit too legging-ish. (photo 2)

http://www.gap.com/browse/prod.....=317260002

I am not actually going to buy the COHs, at least not at full price (although I do have other COH Avedons that fit well), but was just curious what YLF thinks of them.
