It was fun, but I jammed my hands in the pockets-because I could! As a result the patch pockets on the front looked baggy and I started to hate them! (I'm a pear though...) I try to stick with in-seam pockets now, I find the patch pockets on the front to look like the jacket is not well made. I have the same thing for shoes. But you are right, I do not need it. At all.</p> <p>Vildy, I am a slim hourglass with IT tendencies. I don't have a problem with my hips, but I do have it with my bust, so I though the neck was ideal, although I would have to see how the coat would fit the rest of my body. Most of my coats are fitted/A-line, so this would be different. Practically anything worn over a pair of shorts or over a tangle of legs will look as okay as it looks on a hanger. It doesn't have to compete with anything or enhance anything. I think the lines of the jacket are like a lot of baggy runway items, nowadays often shown over baggy/fluid bottoms. A kind of waif look.
