I think the bold colours you wear with it will make all the difference, and it could be a great alternative for white as a base colour in your wardrobe. I'm with Inge that it will look great with your tweed blazer - not to mention how great it looks with your signature colours of tomato red and citron. Worth a bash, I say!</p> <p>Also - with grey particularly, I find - it comes down to the right shade. For me, for example - it has to be very light, not medium, so that it provides sufficient contrast against my skin. Also, it has to be a warm grey, not cool, it has to be heathered, not flat, and it can't be too muddy. If it meets all these criteria - it's a great colour on me. And that one thing is&nbsp;<i>always&nbsp;</i>an issue to be negotiated every time I wear it, whether it's mitigating the color, dealing with a less-than-ideal length (top, skirt, sleeve), having to wear a belt even though nothing I have is perfect, etc. They don't turn into pieces that I can just reach for easily. And color, on something by my face, is one of my biggest hesitations. Layering items like scarves and jackets for me usually ends up covering the other things I like the item for.</p> <p>But all that said, I'm glad you're going to try it. I use light grey in deep winters instead/when I tend to find&nbsp; bright white too harsh to my other deep neutrals. In your case I would pair it exactly with that, bright white or generally big amount of any whites possible(jeans, cigarette pants and booties).&nbsp; Top it with a&nbsp; bright&nbsp; coat (pink, red, turquoise) and add another bright&nbsp; accent for the bag --you do have in your wardrobe.
