When I tried it on, I was hesitant because I felt that the top flattened my chest -- it seems to push my breasts towards my ribcage and <i>downwards</i>. I am not sure if my perception was inaccurate or if this just doesn't show up well in my quick dressing room photos.</p> <p>If I do get the dress, I will get the navy. I LOVE stripes but I think those of you who have mentioned that the stripes are not my best colors are correct. The navy version would replace a black linen sundress that is showing wear and is, frankly, <i>wildly</i> unflattering. (The black sundress however is "free" -- the question is whether I would feel fab enough in the navy to justify spending money on it.)</p> <p>And I would also remove the belt!!! :-)</p> <p>I really love dresses in summer, but find them extremely, <i>extremely</i> hard to fit. (I have a wide ribcage, small chest, and lack a defined waist.) So this is very tempting.
