I’m seeing what Jenni and Angie are seeing too. I’d reserve these for around-the-house wear and keep an eye out for a replacement with a little more ease in the fit. It’s a versatile item and you deserve a new pair after these have served so long!

Thanks, all. Hmm, Angie--maybe. I have a long rise, so maybe they do that. I am more used to the problem of jeans years ago--a drooping crotch.

Do they seem short in the front rise, Carol? Pulling at the crotch point.

I have said Nay for out-and-about, they do look a bit worn and floppy I think? I sympathise because I can take forever to let very comfy well-loved items like that go.

8 years is impressive longevity. These look fine for around the house. I am very biased on joggers and prefer a slightly thicker material and drape for outside the house like the Zella live in joggers I put in the finds. Comparing that material to the ones here it looks like these are a bit like the softer less structured material for pajama bottoms. They look very comfortable!

Thanks, all. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong. Usually my photos turn out and can be expanded, but one difference today is they took forever to load from my phone to my computer.

In principle these look good to me, but of course as mentioned above it is not possible to judge signs of wear from the photos.

It's hard to tell about wear levels since the photos are coming up small on my small screen, but the silhouette looks flattering and comfortable and still stylish. If you can mend the tear and they feel good, why not continue to wear -- and if you can't mend, maybe you want to replace with a newer version.

I have a pair similar to this by the brand Known Supply. I like them on you!

The photos are small, so I can't really see closely enough to tell if I see any signs of wear. I feel confident they are in good enough shape to wear at home, and they may also still be appropriate for wearing for casual outings-- I just can't tell from the photos.

Please forgive the morning hair. And I think it's been more than a month since I've been on YLF, so I have some catching up to do!

Here are a pair of black joggers from one of those brands like Lula Roe Ashley. They are maybe 8 years old. I have worn them plenty, and logic would suggest they are done. But beyond a small hole in the crotch, I don't see much wrong. Even the butt and knees seem okay. It trips me up that a simple jersey item could keep its shape this long.

So my first question is--do they look good at all? Do they look crisp enough even just for wearing around the house?

My next question is--are they still good for casual outings, when styled right? Is this something that could go in public, based on what you see?
