I don't find length shrinks if I don't machine-dry. So I think you'll be ok lengthwise. </p> <p>I got a pair of (gasp) high-waisted black flared jeans from Anthro, but they have that strong dye smell which I am going to try to banish before committing to keeping them. The fit is amazing so I hope I can kill the smell. I find that my trousers either shrink a bit with dry cleaning or go lower if I don't belt as tightly or whatever, and I might have to wear a range of footwear. That can be a problem mainly if the pants " demand" a very specific shoe style or color that I can't sort of duplicate amongst some slightly different heel heights. I have some reservations about them, though. My eye hasn't yet adjusted to the new jeans looks, and I actually prefer the older style on you. I like the way you're wearing the older ones, with the t-shirts untucked and semi-tucked. <br />I do like the sleek fit of the new ones. I think they are quite different from the other pair, which also look good but read more as wide leg jeans. I think because of the high waist you could wear them with fitted tops and crop tops. But you could also wear them with longer tunics and high low tops if you wanted to. </p>
